The United Kingdom is ready to advance with employing the full worth of immobilized Russia's funds to bolster Ukraine's defense operations, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has stated.

In a shared declaration, the heads of state of the UK, the French Republic, and the Federal Republic of Germany stated that this coordinated action would increase strain on Russian President Vladimir Putin and compel the Russian Federation to engage in negotiations.

They added that the move would be executed in tight collaboration with the America.

UK penalties have frozen over £25bn of Russian resources since Moscow launched its comprehensive attack against Ukraine in 2022. But, previously, funds allocated to the Ukrainian government using Russia's assets had solely been drawn from profits and interest earned on them.

Sir Keir told President Volodymyr Zelensky that the United Kingdom, the French Republic, and the Federal Republic of Germany were aligned in their desire to drive progress toward using the complete amount of the frozen Moscow's national funds to conclude the conflict.

He stated that more restrictions in the coming days and weeks would apply more pressure on Moscow.
