Iran is willing to reinitiate atomic negotiations with Washington on condition that it is approached with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat said solely negotiations worked, and shared recent overtures had come from intermediaries to restart discussions with the American leadership. He claimed Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran could not yet permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Navigating a Complex Path

The foreign minister is treading a challenging route since Iran wishes not to be seen to be operating from a position of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more powerful militarily and mentally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

He was speaking at a security conference in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium domestically that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the prior discussions.

Previous Discussions Suddenly Ended

The previous five rounds of discussions between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile termination on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, struck Iran's enrichment centers in a two-week conflict that ended with the US president claiming the locations had been destroyed. Subsequently, European countries used their authority to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran insists they have not had a significant effect.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Tehran representatives claimed they felt they had achieved a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in earlier negotiations, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to declare success since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be assured that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the talks that US nuclear scientists could work on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the partnership suggestion. Representatives asserted on multiple occasions they had secured an understanding with Trump's special envoy the US official only for the deal to disintegrate due to "opponents in the US".

Present Status

Iran's diplomats stated the consortium offer was now withdrawn, but it seems highly likely the suggestion could be revived in certain ways if discussions reopen.

The American leader recently said he had been getting signals that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but confidentially Tehran representatives say they are not yet getting coherent offers from America either explicitly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as Qatar, Egypt, the Omani authorities and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been charged of non-responsiveness in the face of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Tehran asserts dialogue is not part of a show.

Negotiating Standpoint

In his speech to the gathering, aimed to depict the US as a dominant force that misuses the concept of international law, the foreign minister declared the two-week conflict revealed the clash could not be settled by combat operations. He stated the assaults commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an unconditional Iranian surrender and ended with an absolute demand for a ceasefire.

Iran is convinced the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were mounted with full US knowledge and coordination, making trust challenging to restore.

Negotiations Continues the Final Answer

The foreign minister said: "It was not Iran that had deserted diplomacy; it was America and the Western nations that had consistently tried to enforce their will during the discussions. Negotiations can still be alive and continues the ultimate answer to address conflicts, but its criteria, guidelines and fundamentals must be adhered to."

"In case they talk to the nation of Iran with the tone of dignity and honor, they will receive a reply in the equivalent tone."

Recovery and Reconstruction

In what is characterized by Iranian officials as the battle of restoration and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was confident Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been restored. We learned numerous insights from this conflict; we have come to know our own weaknesses and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He stated: "We successfully passed this conflict. Our nuclear technology, which they intended to destroy, stays intact. The facilities and gear, if damaged, will be restored; what is essential is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but failed to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have developed more powerful, more cohesive, and more backing of the government and the state in the face of this attack."
