Loyal supporters of Ariana Grande are calling for that a individual who jumped a barrier and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was set to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a performance. His Instagram account includes recordings of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Fans Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another comment on Instagram.

Some fans also faulted guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Many of fans had assembled in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had waited for as long as eight hours before it started.

The movie, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-part adaptation of the popular theatrical show Wicked, which centers on the unexpected bond between two very different sorceresses.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and received a dozen Academy Award nods, winning two for excellent wardrobe and production design.
