White House Condemns 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Epstein Estate Photos Released
House Democrats have published a new tranche of what they described as "troubling" photographs from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The opening batch of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—plus another 70 released later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.
The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking offenses.
Notable Figures in the Images
Among the notable figures visible in the opening set are celebrities featuring film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are redacted.
Administration Reaction
The White House addressed the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the pictures for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative stated, insisting that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for transparency, making public thousands of pages of records, and calling for more inquiries into Epstein's liberal connections."
Congressional Democrat Remarks
The photographs were disclosed devoid of explanation, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's links with wealthy individuals.
"The moment has come to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he declared in a comment.
The disclosure of these images occurs alongside the oversight committee proceeding with its inquiry into the affair.
